PetThera respects your right to privacy, and wish to keep you informed about our data collection practices and uses. This privacy policy applies to any and all information collected via use of the Device, Software or Services, as well as to any and all services available through PetThera’s website or otherwise provided by PetThera.
We value your trust, and therefore strive to present you this policy in clear, plain language, so you can quickly find answers to the questions that interest you. If you choose to register for an account, submit information to the Services, or otherwise use PetThera inter alia PetThera’s services in any way, you agree to our collection and use of data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Service.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION
NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
PetThera’s Services are intended to record various health-related parameters of the animal wearing and or using the Device. All data collected through your pet’s use of the Device (including without limitation, individual animal information, treatment details, biometrics and vitals information (such as body temperature, heart rate, activity levels), historical data analysis, physician connectivity and results of algorithm) is stored by us (the “Pets’ Data”) and used in order to, inter alia, provide your pet’s medical specialist with additional data and insights. Pets’ Data is non- identifiable nor shall be considered as personal information. Such information shall be deemed to be non-confidential.
Other than in respect of personally identified information (as described below), if you provide any information to us, you agree that we have unlimited rights to such information and that we may use such information in any way we choose.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION
We collect only personally identified information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you, mainly, contact details and other login information you provide as a part of the registration process. If you choose to register or submit information to the Site, you agree to the use of such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. INFORMATION USE
Non-personal information, such as the Pets’ Data is used mainly for providing you with the Services, for analysis and in order to constantly improve and maintain our Services. The Pets’ Data may also be used by us for performing future research, enhancing our products’ capabilities or for any other purpose, commercial or otherwise, and may be freely displayed, shared or sold by us, all in accordance with our sole and absolute discretion. The Pets’ Data is and shall remain exclusively owned by us and constitutes part of our proprietary and confidential information.
Personally identified information however is used for limited purposes, to which you hereby consent by accepting this Privacy Policy, including the following: to manage and administer your account; provide you with support and handle requests; to send you updates, notices, announcements, and additional information related to the Services; to inform you of material changes or additions to this Privacy Policy or our Terms, or to help prevent fraudulent use of our Services.
You may, from time to time, receive alerts and notifications to your mobile phone, tablet and e-mail regarding the data collected and analyzed via the Services. You hereby consent to the receipt of such alerts and notices as well as to PetThera sending similar notices to your veterinary physician (as indicated through the Vet ID).
Personally identified information may also be used for promotional and commercial communications. Please see below our policy on this issue.
3. SHARING OF INFORMATION
Personally identified information may be shared under limited circumstances, such as: with third party providers who are part of delivering the Services; with other third parties who assist us in operating the Services or conducting our business; to comply with a legal requirement, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or the Software; to take precautions against legal liability; or in the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event.
Please note that If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.
4. COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS
We would like to send you from time to time, to your mobile phone, tablet and e-mail, information related to the Services, such as updates and offers we believe you may find interesting. By providing your contact information you hereby provide your consent to receive such communications. You may choose at any time to opt-out and to not receive these communications, without a need to also deactivate your account and cease use of the Device.
Occasionally, we may share personally identifiable information, such as your contact details and Pets’ Data collected from your Pet’s Device, with selected partners and affiliates for their direct marketing purposes, in order for you to receive relevant offers, promotions and coupons regarding products for your beloved pet, including based on your pet’s health profile. If you wish not receive these communications, please select the applicable option during your registration process. Please note that PetThera do not control and shall not be responsible for third parties’ privacy policies or practices.
5. DATA SECURITY
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of any collected data, including the Pet’s Data and contact details. Nevertheless, these security measures cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information. Therefore, PetThera shall not be liable for any damages caused by unauthorized access to your data and/or to any accounts.
6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. You are encouraged to check and revisit this page as often as you wish to update yourself with any changes.
